    General Comment In Bono's song, he describes the journey that we humans are on in our quest to find God.     Song Meaning This song is about Bono's search for "something" (personally I think something to make him feel fulfilled) and more broadly, the human experience of wanting more. Des hauts et des bas. Loss and regret. Perte et regret. Sensual love. Amour sensuel. Been cold and alone. Été froid et seul. He is obviously a very religious man. C'est évidemment un homme très religieux. But he still hasn't found what he's looking for. Mais il n'a toujours pas trouvé ce qu'il cherchait. He just keeps looking. Il continue juste à chercher.
